Action "Packed" Honeymoon
Action "Packed" Honeymoon

You and your fiance' have investigated, pondered and ultimately planned the perfect location to honeymoon. The destination is now locked in, so it is time to begin reflecting on what will occupy you first few wedded days together. Whether you both prefer to lounge on the beach with a great book or hit the ski slopes in the Rockies, the activities you plan will directly relate to the how you pack your bags.

Packing varies greatly depending on you choice of white water rafting or hiking the Himalayas. When starting to pack, remember that less is more.

Essential number one; try to limit your shoe
selection to 3 pairs. One pair for comfort,
one for style and one for everyday wear.

Use the same formula when selecting your clothes. Mix and match with 3 essential pieces that can be dressed up or down by changing a top or a quick change of jewelry. Relax and enjoy yourself instead of worrying about 12 fresh outfits.

Essential number two; pack an
empty foldable tote.

Inevitably you will shop and it is necessary to have an extra bag for your "treasures" on the return trip home. By planning ahead and bringing another carry all, the chance of damage or breaking of souvenirs is greatly reduced.

Essential number three; plan in advance
and shop for "trial sizes".

These samples can be found at cosmetic counters, better quality food stores like Krogers and drug store shelves. Makeup, lipstick samples are often complimentary at larger department stores and it is likely you can even get trial sizes of you favorite hair products from you regular salon.

Remember how vital it is not to pack everything but the kitchen sink. Honeymoons should be a care free time when the two of you can bask in the post-wedding glow without worrying about what to wear the next day.

So be sure to plan ahead, pack the bare essentials, and take off on your honeymoon with love and adventure your hearts.
